July Drop
Yo--Here's 4 minutes and 3 seconds for the month of July

USA. ’Merica. Yeah buddy.
We get our own month to celebrate. It’s great.
If you don’t like freedom, that’s a personal problem.
Best country on earth. Little arrogant? Maybe. But we earned it. We’re basically the Globo Gym of countries:

Anyway…back to the real reason I’m here: another drop from your neighborhood self proclaimed inbox mayor.
AI Tools & Cold Sandwiches
Lately, I’ve been deep in the Ai tools rabbit hole.
And honestly? Most of them are trash.
Overhyped, under delivered. Like ordering a five star meal and getting a turkey sandwich you could’ve made better at home, with Aldi ingredients.
Don’t get me wrong. Ai is absolutely changing business for the better.
The real skill is knowing what’s worth learning and what’s just garbage.
One tool that really caught my eye was bookeeping.ai.
The demo is fire. Pretty much uses Ai to replace most tasks a typical accountant would do for a small business. (Huntley this one’s for you buddy).
In the past couple weeks, I also built three websites using Ai:
Two of these are just off the hip business ideas, the other is for a friends Biz.
I actually built two others for some locals but I can’t share those yet.
Did I know what I was doing when I started? Not a bit.
But like I said in June’s drop, just send it. You’ll figure it out on the way.
Build First, Clarity Later
I heard the CEO of a dominant tech startup say something that was fire:
"You uncover problems by building."
You don’t plan your way to insight. You execute your way into clarity.
This mirrors what James Dyson did, he prototyped over 5,000 vacuums before one worked.
Same with Steve Jobs:
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward. You can only connect them looking backward.”
(Stanford speech)
Moral of the story? Don’t overthink the dots, just start drawing.
As James would say, move fast and break things.
Options Trading
I made a post about this here. I’ve been getting schooled on this for over a year now.
It’s risky. complex. kinda scary. And I love it.
I even had the CIO of a major firm DM me with questions. Wild for a nobody like me.
Big shoutout to Simon Ree. His book The Tao of Trading and course are hands down the best place to start if you’re interested.

Side note: I really think these kinds of online courses are going to chip away at the traditional college model.
You’ll always need med school for surgeons, but business, finance, tech? Learn it online, apply it faster, skip the student debt.
Uncle Shaan with the validation:

2022 SmallBoy
Consistency > Genius
Listened to a conversation with someone who’s built multiple companies and had large dollar exits.
Big boy energy comment? My opinion.
“I’d bet on the consistent guy over the genius every time.”
That’s good. Especially in the age of comparison and highlight reels. Connects with some other trends I’ve pointed out before.
Just keep showing up. That’s an edge for success in anything.
That’s all.

If it did, pass it on. If it didn’t, there’s a field growing somewhere you can watch.
Until next time,
